Our History

Our company was originally founded in 2009 as a full-service nonferrous and ferrous metal recycling company. Since then, Broadway Metal Recycling has relied on a team
with over 50 years industry experience to become a leader in responsible recycling
practices. We accomplish this by providing our customers with reliable customer service
and practicing an open door policy with our clients to foster trusting partnerships. Direct
access to mills and precious metal refineries allows Broadway Metal Recycling to pass
on our pricing benefits to our customers to offer the most competitive prices while
ensuring that our material is recycled responsibly

What's Next

In 2014, after 5 years of exponential growth, Broadway Metal Recycling recognized the need for a committed recycler of society’s modern waste-electronics. The EPA reported in 2012 that the United States generated 3.412 million tons of e-waste and that number has continued to grow every year since. Importantly, only 1 million pounds or 29.2% was recycled of that initial figure. Considering the potentially negative environmental effects of improper e-waste disposal, we at Broadway Metal Recycling have taken steps beyond other metal recycling companies. Specifically, we applied for and received R2, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, which has allowed us to participate in e-waste recycling programs and become a greener company overall. As a more informed institution of environmental, management, safety and health systems best practices, Broadway Metal Recycling is now, more than ever, committed to better servicing our partners, community and environment.
